  • Casual Match (カジュアル): a relaxed random match

  • Play vs CPU (CPU対戦): practice at one of three levels: Easy, Normal or Hard

Basic rules of Divine Duel

  • Before a match, choose a guardian god (Ares, God of War; Odin, God of Magic; Loki, the Trickster God; Hades, God of the Underworld; or Athena, the Goddess) and a deck. You can start right away with a starter deck.
  • At the start of your turn, you recover 3 MP and draw one card. You pay MP to use the cards in your hand.
  • An equipped weapon lets you attack once every turn, and it loses durability each time you attack. Armor reduces damage from physical attacks and spells.
  • If the attack's element has the advantage over the armor's element, the damage is doubled; at a disadvantage, it is halved (Fire beats Wind, Wind beats Earth, Earth beats Water and Water beats Fire; Holy and Dark deal 1.5 times damage to each other).
  • A trap is set face down and goes off automatically in response to your opponent's actions. Your ultimate can be used from turn 7, once per match.
  • Bring your opponent's HP to 0 to win. From turn 31 the final showdown begins, and you take a little damage at the start of each turn.

How to play on Asobi Lounge

  • In the lobby, choose a guardian god and a deck, then choose a mode to start a match.
  • Tap a card in your hand to see what it does. Use (使う) plays the card, and the Attack (攻撃) button attacks with your equipped weapon.
  • You can turn a card into mana with Make Mana (マナにする) to raise your max MP, or swap it with Discard and Draw (捨てて1枚引く). Each can be done once per turn.
  • A deck has 20–30 cards, with up to 3 copies of the same card. You can build your own deck from Create New (新しく作る) in the lobby.

Tips

  • Get a weapon and armor out early so you can deal steady damage every turn.
  • Check the element of your opponent's armor, and use weapons and spells of an element that has the advantage.
  • Building your deck around your guardian god's trait and ultimate makes it easier to win.
  • Early on, use Make Mana to raise your max MP, so you can play strong cards one after another later in the match.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Ranked Match and Casual?
In Ranked Match, the result changes your rating. Casual is a relaxed match, and your rating does not change.
What if my opponent doesn't move in an online match?
